The S3 sintered compound is engineered for optimal performance in both dry and wet conditions, suitable for road and off-road motorcycles.
For road applications, S3 pads are recommended for both the front and rear brakes, while for off-road use, they are only recommended for the front brake.
The S3 series is designed to provide low abrasive interaction with the rotor and quieter braking thanks to its ceramic composite material. It carries an HH friction rating and performs better at higher temperatures than the AD compound. The friction materials consist of metal-ceramic with bronze-graphite and non-metallic friction additives, which are evenly distributed on a fine bronze base to achieve optimal friction properties.
