Young Australian, Remy Gardner crowned 2021 Moto2 World Champion after finishing a comfortable 10th in the final GP of the season in Valencia. Teammate Raul Fernandez takes his 8th race win for the season and second overall in the championship.
Remy joins his father Wayne Gardner (1987 500cc World Champion) to become just the second father/son duo to win GP world championships, a mighty impressive feat.
This is the second season MOTOBATT has supported the Red Bull KTM AJO Moto2 & Moto3 teams, and to have Remy as part of the team has been fantastic.
